PMA seeks to cultivate a prayerful and engaged Christian response to the challenges facing our city. As part of that mission, PMA hosts gatherings known as inter[sessions]. These ongoing gatherings will bring together Christians from across the city to explore pressing issues and identify ways to effect meaningful change. True to its name, inter[sessions], we strongly emphasize intercessory prayer—recognizing that the pursuit of justice is beyond human effort alone. We believe prayer should guide and coincide with education and action as we strive for a more just and compassionate city.

Next Inter[sessions]:

• NYC Mayoral Elections: For our next inter[sessions] gathering, we will focus on the mayoral election, as the primaries are later in June. We will discuss what it means to follow Jesus with our voting, how to understand the various roles in city government, and how those roles impact us. We also will dedicate extended time for intercessory prayer.
